Mark C. Peltz, JD, LLM Mark Peltz, formerly a Tax Partner at Miller, Ellin & Company, LLP, joined the firm in January 2009 as a Tax Principal and Champion of RSSM's International Services Group. Mr. Peltz specializes in tax planning and research for corporate and high net worth individuals, foreign tax planning and representation before the Internal Revenue Service, the State and City of New York and other foreign, state and local governments. Representation before the State of New York has included sales use tax audits, and residency and domiciliary issues. Mr. Peltz has negotiated foreign concession agreements including its foreign tax credit implications, cross border financing, and negotiated bilateral transfer pricing agreements between the United States and the United Kingdom. Mr. Peltz also litigated and settled one of the largest territorial tax issues in Hong Kong. Mr. Peltz is especially skilled in advising business owners on how to best plan for their taxes and simultaneously achieve their financial goals. Mr. Peltz has been quoted in the Financial Times, New York Times and appeared on Eyewitness News, Good Morning New York and NY1 discussing Ponzi Schemes, tax implications for high net worth taxpayers and various international tax issues. Prior to joining RSSM, Mr. Peltz was the tax counsel of a major New York Stock Exchange company. Mr. Peltz has a BA from Brooklyn College and a JD and an LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Mr. Peltz is a member of the New York Bar Association - Tax Section.
