Alyssa Rosenbaum, CPA

Alyssa Rosenbaum, CPA, joined the firm's tax department in January 2009.  With more than 25 years of experience specializing in taxation, Alyssa has a broad background of providing tax services for individuals, estate and trusts, closely held businesses and tax exempt organizations.  She renders tax advisory and compliance services to the firm's high net worth individuals and not-for-profit organizations which include public charities, private foundations and private operating foundations.

Recently, Alyssa was instrumental in obtaining multi-million dollar refunds from the Internal Revenue Service and various state jurisdictions for the firm's Madoff victims.  In addition, she has filed ruling requests with the IRS and state tax agencies on a broad array of tax issues.

Alyssa is a CPA licensed in New York, and has an MBA in Taxation from Pace University and a B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College, NY.  She is also licensed by the NYS Department of Insurance and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
