Ms. Hoffman has built her reputation and that of the firm, with her focus on maintaining a high level of expertise among the staff and the application of the tax code in the best interest of her clients. Each client is given personalized attention regardless of their net worth or the complexity of their return. Ms. Hoffman has also built a substantial practice in the area of trust and estates, a specialized tax discipline. Ms. Hoffman's work in the area of litigation support includes valuations and financial analyses of corporations, partnerships and professional practices as well as the valuation of licenses and degrees in matrimonial matters. She has been qualified as an expert in the area of business and professional practice appraisal, license valuations, financial and economic analysis, accounting, alimony, maintenance and support calculations. Ms. Hoffman has been appointed to prepare valuations and provide expert testimony in court by judges in New York, Bronx, Queens, Richmond, Putnam, Orange, Westchester and Rockland counties. She has lectured on both the methodology of valuing a business in a changing economic environment and the litigation of contract disputes, has published articles in taxation, and was an adjunct professor at William Paterson University. Ms. Hoffman is a CPA licensed in New York, an Accredited Business Valuator, a Certified Valuations Analyst and holds the AICPA Advanced Business Valuation Certificate. Ms. Hoffman received her B.A. from Queens College of New York, New York and has attended Pace University for Post Graduate Studies. MS. Hoffman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the International Business Association and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. |
