Robert Modansky, CPA, CFF Joined The National Editorial Board For Trendlines

Robert A. Modansky, CPA, CFF joined the National Editorial Board (NEB) for Trendlines, a publication of PDI Global/Thomas Reuters.  PDI Global, part of the Tax & Accounting business of Thomas Reuters, offers marketing and client communication solutions for accounting and consulting firms, law firms, banks, and financial service providers.

Mr. Modansky is a Partner with Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP and has actively developed the firm's insolvency practice and the firm is currently involved in cases representing Debtor's, Creditor's Committee and the Trustee in Bankruptcy.

Mr. Modansky recently co-authored an article "What CPAs need to know about using asset-based lending and factoring as alternatives to traditional bank financing" in August 2011 issue of the Journal of Accountancy.  Mr Modansky has spoken to the LIU Center for Accounting and Tax Education Conference on "Financially Troubled Business and Insolvency", the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Annual Bankruptcy and Reorganization Conference and the New York State Society of CPA: annual closely held and flow through entities conference.  Additionally, he is actively involved with the firm's public client's strategic and tax planning and filing compliance.

He is a CPA licensed in Virginia and New York and received his Certified in Financial Forensics ("CFF") designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA").  Mr. Modansky received his B.S.B.A. from The American University, Washington, D.C.  He is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA").  Mr. Modansky also serves on the New York City Bar Association Personal Tax Committee (only non-attorney member).
