Robert Modansky Appointed As A Member Of The Personal Income Taxation Committee Of The Association Of The Bar Of The City Of New York

Robert A. Modansky, CPA, CFF has been appointed as a member of the Personal Income Taxation Committee of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York for the 2009-2010 year.  The Personal Income Taxation Committee addresses various issues regarding federal, state and local personal income tax.

Mr. Modansky, a Partner and champion of the firm's Insolvency Group, has over 25 years of experience providing accounting, auditing, tax, litigation services, forensic accounting and expert witness services.  Mr. Modansky has actively developed the firm's insolvency practice.  Mr. Modansky is currently involved in cases representing Debtor's, Creditor's Committee and the Trustee in Bankruptcy.  Mr. Modansky is actively involved with the firm's public client's strategic tax planning and filing compliance.

Mr. Modansky is a CPA licensed in Virginia and New York and is also Certified in Financial Forensics ("CFF") a designation established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA").  Mr. Modansky has received his B.S.B.A. from The American University, Washington, D.C.  He is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA").  Mr. Modansky has spoken to the LIU Center for Accounting and Tax Education Conference on "Financially Troubled Business and Insolvency", the NYSSCPA's Annual Bankruptcy and Reorganization Conference and the Annual Closely Held and Flow Through Entities Conference.
