News ReleasesMichael Hochman, CPA Granted Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional DesignationMichael Hochman, CPA, CCIFP has recently been granted the professional designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional ("CCIFP"). The Institute of Certified Construction Financial Professionals is a national organization dedicated to promoting excellence and best practices in construction financial management. CCIFP designation is the only industry-recognized certification that a financial professional truly knows the unique business of construction. Mr. Hochman is the Partner-in-Charge of the New city office and formerly a Partner at Kahn, Hoffman & Hochman, LLP. He joined the firm in January 2011 and serves on the firm's Executive Committee and is a Senior Audit Partner with a client base reflecting a wide spectrum of industries including construction, manufacturing, distribution and real estate, and is largely responsible for building the firm's niche within the construction industry. Mr. Hochman has a clear understanding of the in-depth knowledge required for the unique accounting and tax requirement of the construction industry. This knowledge enables the firm to properly plan for year-end financial statements and tax filings. Through years of commitment to our clients, Mr. Hochman has built a reputation within the banking and bonding community that directly benefits our clients. Mr. Hochman is a CPA licensed in New York and New Jersey and has a BS in Accounting from the University of Florida, Fisher School of Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA"), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA"), the Construction Contractors Association, the Rockland Business Association and the Construction Financial Management Association. |
