News ReleasesMartin Leventhal, CPA Re-Elected as President of Harbor Childcare, Inc.Martin Leventhal, CPA has recently been re-elected as President of Harbor Childcare, Inc. which is the largest not-for-profit childcare organization in Nassau and Suffolk counties and currently cares for more than 800 children and their families at its six centers, offering a wide range of programs for infants through school age children, including before and after school, holidays, and a summer camp program. Mr. Leventhal, the Co-Chairman of the firm's Business Investigation and Insolvency Group, has over 40 years of professional experience providing tax, auditing, litigation services, forensic accounting and expert witness services. Mr. Leventhal acts as a consultant to taxpayers and attorneys for tax examinations including fraud. His expertise also includes the following industries: securities, medical and legal practices, manufacturing and real estate. He also has extensive involvement in both the auditing and administration of not-for-profit entities. He is a CPA licensed in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Leventhal received his B.S. from Brooklyn College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants ("NYSSCPA") and The Accountants Club of America. He is the Chairman of the Mediation and Arbitration Committee of the NYSSCPA and is the past Chairman of the NYSSCPA Litigation Services Committee and the Consulting Services Oversight Committee. |
