RSSM ANNOUNCES PRINCIPAL PROMOTIONS

NEW YORK, NY – December 2006 - Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”), Certified Public Accountants and Profitability Consultants, announces the promotion of Kenneth Morris, Norman Levine and Mark Melcer to Principal.

Kenneth V. Morris, CPA/ABV, 47, has been promoted to Principal.  Mr. Morris has over 20 years experience in public accounting.  Mr. Morris specializes in providing accounting and auditing, forensic accounting, business valuations and tax services, to the construction, manufacturing, wholesale, retail and professional services industries.

Mr. Morris received his B.A. from Queens College of New York, New York.  He is a CPA licensed in New York and holds the AICPA Accreditation in Business valuation specialty designation.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Business Appraisals

Norman Levine, CPA, 63, has been promoted to Principal.  Mr. Levine has over 25 years of experience.  He handles individual and business taxation, including corporate, federal consolidation, multistate taxation and partnerships.

Additionally, he handles international tax matters, inbound and outbound, plus resident and non-resident alien matters.

Mr. Levine is a graduate of CCNY (Baruch College), NY with a B.B.A. in Accounting, plus an M.S. in Taxation from Long Island University, NY.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He is a member of The International Tax Committee of The NYSSCPA.

Mark Melcer, CPA, 44, has been promoted to Principal.   Mr. Melcer has over fifteen years of experience.  His specialties are accounting and auditing services for insurance industry, construction, electrical contracting, manufacturing, steel door and architectural walls industry, exercise equipment, retail stores, real estate, garment industries and insurance industries.  He handles employee benefit plan projects and is experienced in IDA loan financing.

Mr. Melcer is a Cum Laude graduate of Touro College, NY, receiving a B.S. in Accounting.   He is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He holds a NJ Real Estate license and is a member of the Lakewood, NJ Chamber of Commerce.
