NEW PARTNERS JOIN RSSM

Michael Strauss, CPA, 63, has joined Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”) effective December 1, 2004 as a Partner.

Mr. Strauss has over thirty years of experience in accounting, management services and tax practice.  His primary areas of concentration are business formations, stockholder and partnership agreements, capital formation, strategic planning, tax planning, arbitration, litigation support, reorganizations and crisis management.  He also has extensive experience in representing clients throughout the United States and Internationally, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France and Puerto Rico.

He is a CPA licensed in New York.  Mr. Strauss received his B.A. from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York, NY.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Robert A. Modansky, CPA, 50, has joined Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”) effective December 1, 2004 as a Partner.

Mr. Modansky has actively developed the firm’s insolvency practice and the firm is currently involved in cases representing Debtor’s, Creditor’s Committee and the Trustee in Bankruptcy.  Mr. Modansky has spoken to the LIU Center for Accounting and Tax Education Conference on “Financially Troubled Business and Insolvency” and at the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Annual Bankruptcy and Reorganization Conference.  Mr. Modansky is actively involved with the firm’s public client’s strategic and tax planning and filing compliance.

He is a CPA licensed in Virginia and New York.  Mr. Modansky received his B.A. from The American University, Washington, DC.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
