SOL BLUMENSTOCK AND RICHARD SAUERWALD JOIN RSSM

NEW YORK, NY – August 2006 - Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”), Certified Public Accountants and Profitability Consultants, announces Sol Blumenstock, CPA and Richard Sauerwald has joined the firm.

Sol Blumenstock, CPA, 52, has joined the firm as a Principal effective August 14, 2006. Drawing on his extensive career in public and private accounting, Mr. Blumenstock has a broad perspective on meeting the needs of growing businesses and individuals.  His hands on experience in internal and external audit and reporting make him particularly sensitive to issues of compliance and financial controls.  He also assists clients in the business planning process and specializes in start-ups, real estate, distribution, hotels, environmental, non-profit organizations, service organizations and E-commerce.

Mr. Blumenstock focuses on professional staff development and management training.  He is a professor at the undergraduate and graduate level and lecturer at the Foundation for Accounting Education, teaching a range of business and accounting subjects from management skills to auditing, accounting, finance, income tax and ethics of the profession. His active participation in the accounting industry, the community and in the practice of his profession in the private sector earned him the Outstanding CPA of Year Award in 1997 from the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Blumenstock graduated with B.A. in Management from Lehman College and an MS in Accounting from Long Island University.  He has an APC in Taxation from New York University.   

Richard Sauerwald, 34, has joined the firm as a Manager effective August 7, 2006.  Mr. Sauerwald has over twelve years of experience and over nine years of industry specialization in real estate and government HUD Audit and Compliance.

Mr. Sauerwald is a Cum Laude graduate of Dowling College, NY, receiving a B.S. in Accounting.
