RSSM ANNOUNCES PRINCIPAL PROMOTIONS

NEW YORK, NY – August 2006 - Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”), Certified Public Accountants and Profitability Consultants, announces the promotion of Matthew Murphy and Jon Rosmarin to Principal.

Matthew D. Murphy, CPA, 38, has been promoted to Principal.  Mr. Murphy has over 10 years of experience and joined the firm August 1998.   He provides accounting and audit services for service, manufacturing, construction, broker/dealers, private technical schools, publishing, Internet, retail and real estate industries.  Additionally, he handles employee benefit plan projects.

Mr. Murphy received his B.A. in Professional Accounting from SUNY, Plattsburgh, NY and his Masters in Taxation from St. John’s University, NY.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Also, Mr. Murphy is a lecturer for the firm’s Continuing Education program.

Jon S. Rosmarin, 38, has been promoted to Principal.  Mr. Rosmarin has 13 years of experience and joined the firm in December 1991.  He handles individual, partnership and business taxation engagements, plus tax planning for high net worth individuals.  He is experienced with large scale real estate partnerships.  He has represented clients before various Federal and State authorities involving income tax matters.

Mr. Rosmarin received his B.A. in Psychology, his M.S. in Accounting and his M.S. in Taxation from the State University of New York, Albany, NY.  Mr. Rosmarin is a lecturer for the firm’s Continuing Education program.
