NEW PARTNERS AND PRINCIPAL JOIN RSSM

Naveen C. Shah, CPA, 47 has joined Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”) effective August 1, 2005 as a Partner.  Mr. Shah was an Executive Partner at Weinick Sanders Leventhal & Co., LLP

Mr. Shah has over 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, business consulting, management advisory and tax services.  His primary areas of concentration are distributors, wholesalers, retailers, import/export, information technology and computer consulting, printing and image processing, real estate and pharmaceutical industries to the South Asian business and professional community.  In addition, he has extensive experience in advising clients for working capital management, residential and commercial real estate loans, business growth plan, financial forecast and projections, reorganization in crisis management, capital formation, stockholder and partnership agreement and representation on all tax matters before federal and state tax authorities.

He is a CPA licensed in New York.  Mr. Shah received his master degree from a prestigious school in India.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Martin Leventhal, CPA, 68, has joined Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”) effective August 1, 2005 as a Partner.  Mr. Leventhal was an Senior Executive Partner at Weinick Sanders Leventhal & Co., LLP.

Mr. Leventhal has over 30 years of professional experience providing tax, auditing, litigation services, forensic accounting and expert witness services.  Mr. Leventhal acts as a consultant to tax payers and attorneys for tax examinations including fraud.  His expertise also includes the following industries:  securities, medical and legal practices, manufacturing and real estate.

He is a CPA licensed in New York and New Jersey.  Mr. Leventhal received his B.A. from Brooklyn College.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, he is also the Past Chairman of the NYSSCPA Committee of Litigation Services and the Consulting Services Oversight Committee and a member of The Accountants Club of America.

I. Jay Safier, CPA, 58, has joined Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (“RSSM”) effective August 1, 2005 as a Principal.  Mr. Safier was a Partner at Weinick Sanders Leventhal & Co., LLP.

Mr. Safier has over 30 years of professional experience providing accounting, auditing, tax, estate and business consulting services to a diverse group of closely held businesses and high net worth clients.

He is a CPA licensed in New York and Connecticut.  Mr. Safier received his bachelor’s degree from The Stern School of Business (formerly School of Commerce) at New York University and his MBA in taxation from The Bernard M. Baruch College.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where he is an active member of the Relations with the Legal Community Committee.  Mr. Safier’s other professional activities include lecturing on various accounting and tax topics as a faculty member of the Foundation for Accounting Education, the educational division of the NYSSCPAs and being published on various income tax and estate tax matters.  He is also a member of the board of directors of Crystal Run Village, Inc. a not-for-profit organization that owns and operates group homes for the developmentally disabled in Rockland, Orange and Sullivan counties of New York.
